I discovered that Vans had the option to customise your own shoes. I immediately set to work to make an illustration that would fit the side of the sneaker perfectly. Eventually I settled on a Dragon design inspired by the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl. On the other side of the shoe I made a small design of that same dragon circling my initials. I digitally painted the illustration in Photoshop and picked my colours so they would fit with the colors I selected for parts of the sneaker itself. I am proud to present my custom sneakers below.
